In recent years,the deteriorated ecological environment of wetland has attracted the extensive attention of all sectors of society,particularly the emerging eco-tourism.An effective approach to protect the ecological environment of wetland is to develop and utilize the wetland eco-tourism in a rational way.In this paper,the eco-tourism development of the Nandagang Wetland in Cangzhou is researched,which is of great reference value to the ecological environmental protection of the wetland and local tourism development,of practical significance to promote the sustainable development of local economy and society.Firstly,it summarizes and analyzes the current condition of wetland eco-tourism development at home and abroad,discusses and concludes the current situation of eco-tourism development of the Nandagang Wetland as well as the existing problems based on sustainable development theory,theories related to ecological economics,tourism economics,and marketing.Additionally,it states the comprehensive condition of the Nandagang Wetland from the perspective of wetland eco-tourism development.Based on SWOT analysis,strategic measures are proposed for the eco-tourism development of the Nandagang Wetland.Whereas eco-tourism development of the Nandagang Wetland is still at the primary development stage,there are prominent problems including single eco-tourism product,low development level of tourism market,imperfect service facilities,and insufficient marketing and advertising.To promote the development of the Nandagang Wetland,strategies are proposed correspondingly including insisting on the principle of protective development,focusing on the development and design of tourism products,adopting suitable marketing strategies,enhancing infrastructure construction,and giving full play to the supporting function of government policies.
