| Although we are now in peace,the bayonet and dagger threat everywhere which seriously influence the people’s lives.So it is very necessary to develop the stab resistant fabric.Soft stab resistant products can achieve the effect of light weight,softness and comfort under the premise of satisfying the good stab resistant performance.Therefore it has a wide application prospect in the design and development of stab resistant products.This paper was mainly to design the structure of the multi-layer fabric and to test the performance of the quasi-static stab resistant.This paper selected high-strength polyester yarn as raw material and designed to weave single-layer plain,twill,satin fabric of different weft densities,multi-layer laminated fabrics of different layers,multi-layer bonded fabrics of different layers,the four-layer bonded fabrics of different weft densities.In order to test the fabrics,stab testing chuck was designed,quasi-static stab test was performed on the universal strength machine accordance with stab resistant test standard.Effects of different weft densities,different fabric structures,different layers,different ways of formation and other related fabric parameters on the performance of the quasi-static stab resistant were analyzed and studied.Test results of quasi-static stab resistant performance of single-layer fabric show that: in the single layer fabric,stab resistant performance of single-layer plain is greater than single-layer twill,which is greater than single-layer satin fabric.When the warp density of fabric is 300/10 cm and weft density of fabric is 120/10 cm,140/10 cm,160/10 cm,180/10 cm,200/10 cm respectively,with the increase of weft density,the stab resistant performance of the single-layer plain increases first and then decreases and then increases.But the stab resistant performance of single-layer twill and satin increases.So the multi-layer fabric chooses plain weave as basic organization.The results of quasi-static stab resistance test of multi-layer fabric show that:with the increase in the number of layers of multi-layer fabric,its thickness and the square meter weight increase,the stab resistant performance also increases.When the warp density of the multi-layer fabric is 300/10 cm and the weft density is 180/10 cm,the quasi-static stab resistance performance of the multi-layer laminated fabric is better than the multi-layer bonded fabric.When the warp density of fabric is 300/10cm×4 and weft density of fabric is 120/10 cm×4,140/10 cm×4,160/10 cm×4,180/10cm×4,200/10 cm×4 respectively,with the increase of weft density,the stab resistance performance of the four-layer bonded fabric increases first and then decreases and then increases.In order to improve quasi-static stab resistance of multi-layer fabric,epoxy resin was chose for finishing of single-layer plain,multi-layer laminated fabrics of different layers,multi-layer bonded fabrics of different layers,the four-layer bonded fabrics of different weft density.Contrast effect of stab resistant performance before and after finishing.The results show: after resin finishing,the quasi-static stab resistant performance of single-plain fabric,multi-layer laminated fabrics of different layers,multi-layer bonded fabrics of different layers is improved.But the improvement of the stab resistant performance of multi-layer bonded fabrics is very little.After resin finishing,the stab resistant performance of single-plain fabric and multi-layer laminated fabrics of different layers is significantly improved.When the warp density of the four-layer bonded fabrics is 300/10 cm×4 and weft density of fabric is 120/10cm×4,140/10 cm×4,160/10 cm×4,180/10 cm×4,200/10 cm×4 respectively,after the resin finishing the smaller the weft density of fabric,the more to improve the stab resistant performance,the bigger the weft density of fabric,the less to improve the stab resistant performance.In this paper,the quasi-static stab resistant performance of the multi-layer fabric prepared by high strength polyester yarn was analyzed and studied.The experimental results show that the multi-layer fabric is feasible for the development of flexible stab resistant materials. |
