Research On Farmers Willingness To Pay For Rural Household Garbage Disposal In Town P Of County X

With the rapid development of the economy and the acceleration of urban and rural integration,the lifestyle and consumption patterns of rural residents have changed significantly,and the types and quantities of rural domestic waste have increased year by year.Poor infrastructure,scattered living,lack of funds and other factors restrict the effective management of rural domestic waste,seriously affecting the living environment and quality of life of rural residents.In this paper,through interviews with Town Sanitation Center,Sanitation Company and Cleaning workers,we will learn the current status of local rural domestic waste management,the allocation of funds and facilities,the difficulties and problems faced.Through the survey of 15 villages in Town P,the family characteristics,environmental awareness,behavior and satisfaction evaluation are analyzed.The expectations and requirements of household waste management are understood.It is beneficial to further analyze the fundamental causes of farmers'willingness to pay,and to solve the problems of rural domestic waste management.It is the goal of the beautiful countryside construction.Through reading a large number of documents,it firstly divides into foreign and domestic aspects,regarding the influencing factors of the research field,content,supply mode and willingness to pay for public products.To analyze the economic and social development of sample area and the status of domestic waste management,it is concluded that the funding is the biggest problem of the supply of public products,especially the supply of public health products.Through the questionnaire survey of 200 households in town P of County X,the influence of different factors on the willingness to pay,the capacity of payment and the amount of payment of the farmers is analyzed by statistical analysis.Through the case study of town P in County X,the following conclusions are obtained:(a)if the government charges the garbage management under the current market-oriented model,81%of the farmers are willing to pay the waste management fee and the amount of the payment is(?)5-10RMB.Therefore,the marketed-managed model of garbage disposal is recognized and practicable in the local rural areas.(b)Party members and village cadres are more willing to pay the waste management fee.Age has a negative impact on the willingness to pay.The income level and education level have a positive impact on the willingness to pay,and the gender has no significant influence on the willingness to pay.(c)The willingness to pay for families with less than 3 people or more than 6 families is low.The reasons are low income level and high total family charges.The above research results are beneficial to improve the rural domestic waste management service,improve the willingness to pay,maintain the long-term market-managed rural domestic waste management operation model,and speed up the construction of beautiful countryside.
