Nowadays, the photochromic molecular systems become more and more popularly due to their significant potential for application in various fields in data storage, camera imaging holographic records,electronics,light-driven switches.Up to date, many types of naphthopyran compounds have been reported, while the simple structures, weak fatigue resistance, short absorption wavelength, slowly fade rate limit the application in the market. Therefore, the research of excellent performance of the naphthopyran compounds become currently popular. Two series of naphthopyran compounds was designed and synthesized based on bis(4-methoxyphenyl)methanone.The compounds were characterized by 1H NMR,13 C NMR,FT-IR and elementary analysis and ultraviolet visible, and characterized the fatigue resistance in film. The main research work of this paper are as follows:1.A series of novel naphthopyran compounds were synthesized from bis(4-methoxyphenyl)methanone by several reactions and characterized by FT-IR,1H NMR,13 C NMR and elemental analysis.4 different propynol compounds were obtained by bromination,Suzuki coupling reaction and so on,and four different kinds of naphthopyran were obtained.2.Four different propynol compounds were obtained by bromination,Suzuki coupling reaction form bis(4-methoxyphenyl)methanone,and then four different kinds of naphthopyran were obtained. The intermediates and target products were characterized by FT-IR,1H NMR,13 C NMR.3.New compounds dissolved in solution, test and compare the photochromic performance in the different solutions.4.New compounds dissolved in sol, test the photochromic performance and fatigue resistance.5.We found that when increase the compound conjugate system, their discoloration and fatigue resistance have improved through the performance test...
