Yulin-Jinan gas pipeline with max.capacity of gas transportation 31.6×10~8m~3/a was established and put into use in 2010.With the development of Ordos Gas Field and the growing consumer demand of downstream market,it is becoming necessary to improve the max.capacity of Yulin-Jinan gas pipeline by the oppressurized project.In this paper,The research status of gas pipeline simulation,the development and application of simulation software is analysed.The theoretical basis gas pipeline process systematic analysis is described.With the research of the development planning of Ordos Gas Field and the consumer demand of downstream market,and with the investigation into the surrounding of all the existent station,possible station arrangement of gas compressor station for Yulin-Jinan gas pipeline pressurized project is analyzed.Software TGENT is used to build simulation model and calculate conditions.Through analyzing and comparing calculating results,it is recommended that when transporting capacity of Ordos Gas Field develops 50×10~8m~3/a,one compressor unit with 8MW will be enlarged in Yulin initial station,and three compressor units with 9MW and two compressor units with 8MW will be enlarged respectively in Pingyao station and Anyang station.When transporting capacity of Ordos Gas Field develops 60×10~8m~3/a,one compressor unit with 8MW will be enlarged respectively in Yulin initial station and Anyang station,and Fangshan station will be enlarged as a compressor station and three compressor units with 8MW will be installed.
