The large quantity and widely used CNC machine tools have huge energy consume summation and low energy efficiency.Lack of attention and research on energy efficiency issue previously,but it has changed those years and becomes a hot problem of the whole world.As the mainstay of energy consumption research,energy efficiency monitoring of CNC machine tools provides basic data for energy efficiency assessment,energy monitoring management and ascension technology,though its research has great significance.In allusion to the problems in energy efficiency monitoring such as requirement for more detailed of monitoring information and inaccuracy of some monitoring information,this paper raised an energy efficiency monitoring method based on the integration of energy information and communicate information for CNC machine tools,and studied the development of monitoring application system.Firstly,this paper analyzed the energy model and energy efficiency acquisition model during service process of CNC machine tools.This paper divided the service process to seven energy states by introducing twelve state nodes,and proposed energy model for each energy state.Then analyzed the application of communicate information in those energy model.O n this basis,proposed the energy efficiency acquisition model of CNC machine tools according to the energy model during cutting states.Secondly,this paper proposed a monitoring frame based on the integration of energy information and communicate information by meeting the need of the practical monitoring in production site.The monitoring of energy efficiency can be divided into three steps: acquisition and transmission of energy and communicate information,recognition of energy consumption states,acquisition and calculation of monitoring index.Recognition of energy consumption states was the focus of the discussion.This paper proposed an on-line recognize method for the finish machining state by combining energy information and communicate information,and proposed the energy consumption states on-line recognize algorithm.At last,this paper developed a system.Designed the architecture of the system firstly,then designed the hardware and software platform based on the analysis of the first step,and then programmed to achieve the various functional modules of the system.At last,research for the application on various CNC machine tools in the working shop has been conducted.The experimental verification and application indicate that,the energy efficiency monitoring method based on the integration of energy information and communicate information for CNC machine tools and application system can realize the acquisition of various energy and operate efficiency indexes.This method and application system can provide data support for energy efficiency assessment,energy monitor ing management and ascension technology which has shown its broad prospect of application.
