As people pay more and more attention to their food,special diet has been the symbol of the regional culture.With the development of commodity and tourism,local food has new chance of development and innovation because of its unique taste,a long history,and rich cultural connotations.This article uses food culture of Kazak Autonomous County of Balikun as the research content.Through the research of food history,the survey of time-honored brands,and promotion of festival food,the author gives a concrete description of food brand promotion during festival and business development,analyzing Balikun County food culture under the business background.Balikun is an important place on Silk Road new north road in Xinjiang.Min and Han food culture became a new folk diet of a distinctive regional characteristics.The Han nationality and the minority nationalities learn from each other and help each other in the long-term living together in Balikun.To reconcile ethnic flavor,smart people create a unique flavor of the Balikun Town West cuisine based on local ingredients.As the significant place for commerce on Silk Road,Balikun's catering culture and commercial culture are closely intertwined.To dig the traditional culture in local food,this paper studies from four different perspectives.First,the author reviews the development history in Balikun business activities,analyzing the important role of heavy commercial atmosphere in local catering industry,based on reading and collecting materials.The second part studies Balikun festival under the business culture.Through the discussion of different food brands and food in both traditional and new festivals,the cultural connotations in Balikun festival food are revealed.The third part offers suggestions to improve the popularity of the old brand.Through the analysis of the time-honored catering Balikun,the author explores the reason for its formation,and the consumer recognition of the brand.The fourth part focuses on two business cases of Balikun restaurant brands,to explore how to innovate in local special food.According to the main problems in thedevelopment of the catering industry,this paper puts forward relevant countermeasures.During more than two years,the author conduct in-depth field research,using interviews,questionnaires,literature reading and other forms,to summarize the origin and development of Balikun dining species and the cultural connotation.The paper provides a reference for the understanding of Balikun tradition diet for visitors,and provides a strong basis for external propaganda for local government.
