A Research On Xi Jinping’s Ideas Of Ecological Civilization Construction

With development in human society and civilizations,the emerging ecological and environmental problem becomes one the problems that humans confront.The reason is humans’ violent harm and usage of natural environment and resources within long period of development.Industrial civilization creates great amount of social wealth.At the same time,humans breaks ecological balance.Nature punishes and revenges humans.As the national economy grows rapidly,we improve our international prestige.Now China becomes a giant in international economy,and shoulders the responsibility of global ecological civilization construction.Currently China has a large population,and national scientific and technological level falls behind.Presently Chinese economic development models are mainly extensive.All these factors lead to severe harms to our ecological environment.Moreover,they make Chinese ecological civilization construction more difficult and complicated.Based on Marxist ecological thoughts,President Xi Jinping investigates into problems from sustainable-developmental perspectives,according to practical conditions both home and abroad.He regards the great rejuvenation of China as his responsibility,and comes up with a series of ecological construction ideas.This paper makes discussion from four points.Firstly,the paper gives an analysis on theoretical sources of Xi Jinping’s ecological civilization construction ideas.That is to say,the ideas are based on Marxist ecological thoughts,and inherit ancient Chinese ideas like “man and nature are an unity” and “man should learn from nature”.This helps deepen ecological civilization construction ideas of former state leaders.Hence Xi Jinping’s ideas come into being.Secondly,this paper gives a clear review to realistic basis of Xi Jinping’s ecological civilization construction ideas.His ideas are mainly based on analysis on current international situations,and problems that exist in Chinese ecological environment.Thirdly,it interprets and generalizes the main content of Xi Jinping’s ideas,including the dialectical relationship between ecological civilization construction and social economic development,strengthening of institutional,legal and cultural construction,the public’s intention for ecological civilization construction,consolidation of public ecological awareness,and enhancement of international cooperation,etc.Fourthly,this paper explores the significance of Xi Jinping’s ecological civilization construction.It makes a deep explanation of Xi Jinping’s ideas,and interprets the essential spirits from integral and substantial perspectives.It provides help to national ecological civilization construction practices.
