Rural garbage in China was faced with the plight of "village surrounded by garbage",and the disposal methods of rural garbage were in the initial stage,such as lack of disposal facilities and long-lasting operation management,lead the rural area took up garbage open burning to reduce the stockpiling garbage.In view of the researching and solving the rural garbage management problems and disposal methods were necessary,and there was little report about human health risk assessment of open burning rural garbage.Therefore,this research analyzed the garbage samples in the laboratory,these sampling garbage were sampled from typical villages and towns of 6 provinces in the south China and 6 provinces in the north China in Mar.,Jun.,Sep.,and Dec.of 2015.Sampling points were 72 in total,each province chose 3 towns,and each town chose 1 typical village.Research items included rural garbage composition mass percentage,moisture content and heating value.On the basis of the basic characteristics of rural garbage,then we took garbage components incineration research,including the thermogravimetric experiments of garbage components,and the release mount of PAHs and BTEXs in garbage open burning flue gas which were influenced by different factors.At last,selecting a town in Hubei which have 3 scales residential as human health risk assessment.Research conclusions were as following:the wet basis mass percentage of rural garbage present the harmful<the metals<?5%?<the wood<the glass<the fabric<the tile<?15%?<the paper<the rubber<?25%?<the dust<?26%?<the kitchen residual?34%?.The moisture of north and south rural garbage was?30.48± 10.21?%and?40.09 ± 5.23?%,respectively.After sorting,most combustible components of rural garbage heating value were higher than 3 500 kJ·kg-1,except the heating value of combustible garbage in southern China was still lower than 3500 kJ·kg-1.Through sorting and strengthen the pretreatment process to enhance the heating value of rural garbage,then the incineration disposal method is feasible.The PAHs and BTEXs release mass in flue gas of rural garbage open burning were?74.80-467.71?mg·kg-1 and?22.42-61.21?mg·kg-1,respectively.Rural garbage open burning at discrete village,intensive village and urban-rural integration villages and towns,when residents exposed in the garbage incineration flue gas which contains PAHs and BTEXs which there values were laboratory research at 400 centigrade via breathing,and these residents were had the risk of cancer for different degrees.Specific as following:from the perspective of PAHs and BTEXs in open burning flue gas,garbage open burning inside single garbage pool diden't have caner risk,but from the perspective of Dioxins in open burning flue gas had the risk of cancer to whom exposure in the polluted air.Rural garbage open burning inside garbage pool at intensive village or open burning at open storage ground existed the risk of cancer to whom exposed in the flue gas.Using small incinerator to disposal rural garbage,the PAHs and BTEXs release amount was laboratory research at 850 centigrade,the incinerator daily running 10 hours,and its garbage processing was 2.07 t·h-1,the flue gas release hight was 5 meters,the scope of cancerogenic by PAHs and BTEXs in flue gas was about 1 kilometer to 1.1 kilometer far from incinerator.We should pay attention to that giving flue gas treatment facilities to small incinerator,when its ratio was 90%,the risk of cancer scope within 300 meters down wind,and the incinerator disposal ratio was 99%,there was no cancerogenic down wind of small incinerator.
