An Empirical Study On The Impact Of Corporate Environmental Responsibility On Enterprise Competitiveness

Natural resources for people to provide the necessary raw materials for survival,there is no natural resources,it is difficult to survive.In the transformation of natural and social environment in the disappearing,the resources are exhausted,the environmental situation is grim.Especially in recent years,the types of environmental pollution incidents and pollutants are increasing,the contradiction between environmental problems and economic development is becoming more and more serious.Based on this,the issue of environmental protection has become a hot issue in the development of all walks of life,whether it is at the national level policy guidelines or enterprise level development guidelines,have stressed the importance of environmental protection.From a national point of view,the introduction of the relevant documents explicitly require companies should assume its responsibility in environmental protection.From the enterprise level,the environmental protection is one of their own social responsibility must be fulfilled in the development of the hand according to the relevant provisions of the state issued the corresponding measures for the implementation of environmental protection,on the other hand,take the necessary funds for governance of the environment.In the short term interests,the enterprise may be environmental protection consumption as a pure cost expenditure,that corporate spending on environmental protection may will lead to a decline in the profitability of the business,which weakened the market competitiveness of enterprises.Every enterprise is to make money and exist,so,for their own environmental protection in thinking and consciousness is relatively weak.But the country also greatly encourage enterprises to pay attention to environmental problems,whether the benefits of environmental protection has lagged behind,so in the long run enterprises may be due attention to environmental issues and the improved competitiveness of enterprises,this is a question.Whether the enterprise should attach great importance to the protection of the environment in the pursuit of interest based on,this paper mainly discusses the corporate environmental responsibility performance has on the competitiveness of enterprises and how,and whether this effect is lagging behind.In this study,mainly based on theoretical research support,combined with empirical research,first of all to the contemporary needs of enterprise environmental responsibility of the background,purpose and significance are described,the reality of the situation of domestic and foreign experts concluded that the combination of theory with Chinese,determine the main content of this paper;secondly,the related theory of needs the research are summarized,and accurate definition of the environmental responsibility of enterprises and the competitiveness of enterprises,how to evaluation of corporate environmental responsibility and competitiveness of enterprises based on the definitions;thirdly,according to the index system above the study needs,combined with the social practice,delete some not suitable or has little effect on the index,summary the index of research for this thesis;finally,through the environmental responsibility report of the enterprise issued by the relevant finance and In order to get the empirical results,we use the statistical software and statistical methods to analyze the sample data.The general statistics analysis on many different aspects of corporate scale,corporate environmental responsibility and the rate of return on net assets,corporate responsibility for environmental impact on the competitiveness of enterprises has lagged behind,the current corporate environmental responsibility to the competitiveness of enterprises has obvious negative effect;the environmental responsibility of enterprises has a positive the role of the coming year’s competitiveness,but can not reach the significant level;the scale of enterprises on the competitive effect and although there are positive,but almost not up to a significant level.The conclusion of this paper,this paper puts forward suggestions from the government,enterprises and the public in three aspects,first,the government,can the use of legal,economic and other means of supervision and incentives to enterprises,and severely punish serious environmental pollution enterprises,actively reward environmental responsibility to implement good enterprise;secondly the enterprises should take.Environmental protection as a corporate culture,environmental protection training and education for the internal staff,enhance staff awareness of environmental protection,but also actively organize environmental public welfare activities,beautify the environment,improve the visibility of social masses;again,the enterprise should actively conduct supervision and environmental damage,once found the environment failure to actively report,at the same time to establish the conception of green consumption,the environmental pollution And conducive to their own health green products.
