Our country has always been a big country of energy consumption in recent years. the rapid economic development has brought huge demand for energy,although it has stimulated the energy market,make it develop,China's coal,oil and other traditional energy sources have brought great environmental pollution.so,the energy diversification and the development of clean energy have become a trend in recent years .The rapid development of coalbed methane is based on such an environment.In recent years, ti is a stage of the explosive development of the Internet of things and information.All kinds of industries are developing their characteristic informationalized industries by "the trend".Although the information development of coalbed methane has made gratifying progress,but there are still more extensive exploration of space to wait for mining.With the development of video system, data acquisition and other technologies, the mining of coalbed methane is also based on its own characteristics and has applied the relevant technology.Data storage and information technology development have a high level.But the development of the data application is still in the initial stage, so this time we try to use GIS system in the coalbed methane exploration and development.The first part of this paper describes the background and significance of this topic, the status of Internet of Things, GIS and Decision Support System,and the main contents and structure of the paper.The second chapter mainly introduces the theory of coalbed methane exploitation, Internet of things and GIS. The third chapter is the system requirements and design. The fourth chapter is the realization of the system. The fifth chapter is a systematic review combined the using conditions.The chapter 6 points out the shortcomings of the system and the direction of optimization through the existing advanced technology and future development trend.
