| Seamless underwear needle is directly involved in the key components of weaving seamless underwear products,whose performance has an important effect on the quality of the seamless underwear.With the economic development and the improvement of living standards of the people,the demand for seamless underwear products is increasing,which also led to the growing demand of seamless underwear needle.However,due to restrictions on the manufacturing level of domestic knitting needle,the development and manufacture of seamless underwear needle is still in the blank in our country.As exploratory to develop the seamless underwear needle,this paper mainly describes the process of manufacture the fine and narrow slot.The narrow slot is the place to accommodate and lay the needle tongue on the needles,its design and manufacturing quality is relatively high.Compared with other knitting needle slot,the narrow slot on the seamless underwear needle,which is more difficult to manufacture.Domestic manufacture of equipment and technology is lagging behind,so it can’t be manufactured by the conventional milling methods on the narrow slot of the seamless underwear needle.Therefore,on the condition that the EDM in the narrow slot have some accumulations,this paper mainly introduce the study on the EDM in the fine and narrow slot,the studying work mainly include the following contents:(1)Using the ZT007B EDM equipment in the studying work on the manufacturing technology of the fine and narrow slot.First,get familiar with the composition and operation of the machine tools,and then get understanding to the performance of the machine on the basis of experiments,in order to prepare for the subsequent exploration of fine and narrow slot manufacturing process.(2)Starting form understanding the relationship of the tool electrode shape and the shape of the workpiece,explorer the relationship between the depth of two kinds of tool-electrodes into the workpiece and the corresponding depth,fitting the type of relationship between them.Finally,using the quadratic approximation formula,processed out the pre-designed micro-groove,and the result turns out to be good.With the fitting relationship,the shape of the actual processed groove shape fits the designed one very well,and the processing error is less than 0.02mm,in line with the requirements of the groove processing.This kind of EDM method provides a theoretical basis on the manufacture of fine and narrow slot such as the slot of the seamless underwear needle. |
