| An ergonomic chair was designed and accomplished based on ergonomics in this study. The body pressure distribution as people in sitting positionwas calculated due to the form variables of chair. In addition, the reasonable sitting position surface also been fitted. As a primary practical research, this study is significant for guiding chair design optimization and comfort promotion.The research contents including three parts:First of all, the design and accomplishment of wooden ergonomic chair which adjustable and capable for three-dimensional fitting of body sitting surface; Secondly, the form variables and pressure distribution detection as people is in sitting position; Thirdly, the suitable three-dimensional fitting of chair surface based on form variables of sitting position data.The research results are concluded as follows:(1)The ergonomic chair presented in this study is easily made and operated.It is workable among the different individuals. The backrest and seat surface is adjustable to the dimension of different individuals and also will match body curve automatically.(2)The form variables of ergonomic chair when people in sitting position are detected. The body pressure distribution is obtained by using the Hooke’s law, the detection results reflect the differences in height, weight and sitting posture.(3)The seat surface structure can stable human pelvis and maintain the spine in normal physiological bending, and also it can provide reasonable body pressure distribution. Hence, it improved the comfort of chair.To sum up, the ergonomic chair is capable to collect the sitting position date of the testers. On the premise of large number of data collection, the ergonomic chairs in this study can guide the optimization of chair design. |
