Application Study Of Lean Improving Lab Process Management

Third-party testing industry in China is in the ascendant,it not only promotes China's economic development,but also makes an important contribution for improving the living standards of citizens.However,China's third-party testing industry,although its size is the largest in the world,but its the overall level of quality has a very large gap compared with the international standard,the key reason is that the process management concept is old and the management technology tool is poor.In order to change this situation,we set a group of internationally renowned third-party metal material testing laboratory in Tianjin as the objective to study.Make a detailed description and analysis of the basic status of metal materials laboratory processes and problems.Then apply the lean manufacturing theory to laboratory process management improvements creatively,combine with the application of Laboratory Information Management System(LIMS),for each part of the process were accurate statistics,thereby re-understanding and successfully found The real key laboratory process weaknesses,and in the use of the ideas and methods of lean manufacturing theory onto the laboratory process optimized process improvement,re-use data collection capabilities of the LIMS to establish a continuous quality assessment feedback system,thereby enabling the lab managers can find the individual elements affect the overall process and to intervene.After the initial implementation of process improvement work,the quality indicators are greatly improved and all achieved the expected targets.I believe this thesis can help other domestic third-party testing laboratory process management improvement work.
