Agriculture is an important source of the total greenhouse gas?GHG?emissions in China.Estimating agricultural GHG emissions on the provincial level and analyzing its emission characteristics are essential for conducting suitable mitigation measures in consideration of the actual situation of the various regions in China.In this study,we adopted the method recommended by "Guidelines for provincial greenhouse gas inventory" to estimate agricultural CH4 and N2O emissions from Inner Mongolia in 2005,2010,2012 and 2014.The results indicated that:?1?The total amount of agricultural sources of CH4 and N2O emissions from the region were 3065.14 ten thousand tons,3424.40 ten thousand tons,3474.68 ten thousand tons and 3482.19 ten thousand tons?in CO2 equivalent?in 2005,2010,2012 and 2014,respectively.?2?The CH4 emission from animal enteric fermentation is the major GHG source of agriculture in Inner Mongolia,the emissions is 1916.27 ten thousand tons,2127.66 ten thousand tons,2134.46 ten thousand tons and 2147.26 ten thousand tons?in CO2 equivalent?in 2005,2010,2012 and 2014,respectively.The N2O emission from cropland is another important source of agriculture greenhouse gas emissions in Inner Mongolia.The emissions is 509.94 ten thousand tons,630.31 ten thousand tons,652.10 ten thousand tons and 694.45 ten thousand tons?CO2 equivalent?in 2005,2010,2012 and 2014 respectively.In four years,the management of animal manure causing N2O emissions is 468.27 ten thousand tons,486.27 ten thousand tons,505.62 ten thousand tons and 473.41 ten thousand tons?CO2 equivalent?,respectively,which is rank only second to cropland in Inner Mongolia another important emission source of emissions.?3?The N2O emission from cropland mainly from two aspects,direct emissions and indirect emissions.Among them,the nitrogen fertilizer put into the soil is the main reason of direct emissions.The nitrogen input caused by atmospheric nitrogen deposition is higher than that caused by leaching runoff loss into the water,so the indirect N2O emissions mainly caused by atmospheric nitrogen deposition.The major source of CH4 emission from livestock enteric fermentation is ruminants,such as cows and sheep.It is the main cause of CH4 and N2O in manure management that cows and sheep producing a large amount of waste.There is a large amount of pigs in Inner Mongolia relatively.The emission factor of pig manure management system is big,so pig dung is the main source of CH4 emission of livestock manure in Inner Mongolia.?4?We found that agriculture GHG emission?CH4 and N2O emissions?of Tongliao City,Chifeng City,and Hulun Buir City are highest.The emission pattern is the emissions in east are more than that in west.?5?The average intensity of agriculture GHG emissions?CH4 and N2O emissions,as CO2 equivalent?are 0.46t ha-1·a-1,0.51t·ha-1·a-1,0.50t ha-1·a-1 and 0.49t·ha-1·a-1 in Inner Mongolia in 2005,2010,2012 and 2014,respectively.The intensity emissions of Hohhot City,Tongliao City,Chifeng City,and Baotou City are the largest in Inner Mongolia.?6?On the basis of Kaya model,we analyse the influence of agricultural greenhouse gas emissions in Inner Mongolia,the main effect factors for emissions is economic development.The second effect factors are population and industrial structure.These factors lead to the agriculture GHG emissions be increasing in Inner Mongolia.?7?The CH4 and N2O space distribution were significantly related to the animal husbandry fishery output and population.The fast development of farming and animal husbandry in the east in Inner Mongolia is the main influence factors for the spatial distribution of CH4 and N2O.The second influence factor is the increasing of population.
