Tea is the national drink,to some extent,as the representative symbol of Chinese elegant culture.Internal and external performance in two aspects: Chinese tea culture is a unique phenomenon in the history of China’s traditional culture,the later had a profound impact;at the same time,the external communication process for thousands of years,but also as a Chinese symbol,it makes a significant contribution to world civilization.In the long process of historical development,Chinese tea culture was gradually formed a unique culture.This paper tries to explore the deep reason that how the tea with simple plant develops into culture through analysis of Philology and related materials,and it also makes endeavor to analyze the spirit connotation and aesthetic feature that the tea has,hoping to provide support of culture connotation for Chinese tea brand.The content of the paper is divided into five parts.First,it introduces the origin and development of tea and tea culture.It has been proved that China is the origin of tea and tea culture according to rheological context and botany research,then delivered to all over the world.The start of tea culture dated back to Wei and Jin Dynasty,people gradually discovered the spirit culture from it.The Classic of Tea was the first monograph of Tea Science that was published in China and the whole world in Tang Dynasty.It was the symbol of the forming of tea culture,and boomed in Song Dynasty.It delivered and innovated from the later dynasty to today.The second chapter analyzes the reason why tea upgrades to be a kind of cultural and national drink and spiritual content and characteristics of Chinese tea culture.There are three main reasons: first,the physic character the tea has.The same origin that the medicine and food has is the main reason.People tried to find the treatment method from food with uncertainty.However,tea rightly had the medical function that it stepped into the insight of people and used by them.Second,the combination of tea and Zen idea.It’s said that tea was welcomed among clergies and it has formed a tea-drinking atmosphere.Ancient temples were often found in remote and deep mountain,and the famous tea with good quality were also supplied from it.Third,the scholars joined and leaded the tea culture for it had no conflict with the Chinese scholars ‘s life philosophy system.No wondered that why they became the leader of the tea culture,letting it achieved from a leap vulgar to elegant cultural realm.In the third chapter,it lists a series of problems that Chinese tea brand has,appealing to adding the the need of exploration in culture connotation of it.Take the Eight horses tea brand as a case study,hoping to drawn some feasible suggestions.
