A Study On The Influencing Factors Of Carbon Emissions In Zhejiang Province

Greenhouse gas emissions are mainly energy consumption,and energy to the development of the national economy to provide power and support,therefore,mitigation of global warming is both environmental problems,but also economic problems.Energy is an important material foundation of the national economy,is an important guarantee for social sustainable development,the future of civilization and everything is closely related to energy.As China ’s eastern developed province of Zhejiang Province,the total economic output in the forefront of the country.The Zhejiang land area "no oil,lack of coal,less electricity," is a small province,more than90% of the energy consumption from other provinces need to import or import,energy consumption,a high degree of external dependence.Zhejiang province is also a province of energy consumption.With the acceleration of industrialization and urbanization,the total energy consumption in Zhejiang continued to rise,in 2014 the province’s total energy consumption reached 188.26 million tons of standard coal,up1% over the previous year.Of which 134.252 million tons of coal consumption,27.3181 million tons of crude oil consumption,natural gas consumption of 7.816 billion cubic meters.Although the total energy consumption growth slowed,but the proportion of coal is still high,especially coal for power generation caused by carbon emissions is still great.However,there are many factors that affect carbon emissions,the study of Zhejiang Province,the impact of carbon emission factors,not only rich in low-carbon economic theory has important value,but also to accelerate the pace of economic development in Zhejiang Province,promote regional economic development has important practical significance,But also for policy makers to develop relevant policy recommendations and to promote the work of Zhejiang to provide a reference for carbon emissions.In this background and significance,this paper first combs the domestic and foreign literatures according to the carbon emission measurement method and carbon emission decomposition analysis method.Then,the carbon emissions of Zhejiang Province are analyzed.First,the accounting of energy consumption carbon emissions in Zhejiang Province is described,including the merger of departments,the selection offossil fuel types and the estimation method of carbon emissions.Then,according to the overall situation of carbon emissions,Energy and carbon emissions of the status quo of the three industries to carry out three aspects of carbon emissions.In the theoretical analysis,the general theory of kaya identity is introduced firstly.Then,using the extended kaya identities to decompose the primary energy carbon emissions in Zhejiang province,but can not decompose the internal structure of primary energy,and then from the interior of primary energy Structural perspective.But factors can be more detailed,therefore,but also the impact of carbon emissions factors from the industry point of view kaya decomposition,joined the industrial structure of this factor.Finally,the impacts of carbon emission intensity of primaryenergy,industrial structure,energy structure,energy intensity of output,economic development level and population six factors on carbon emissions are described respectively.In the empirical analysis,the total amount of carbon emissions as the dependent variable,industrial structure,primary energy structure,output energy intensity,economic development level and population as independent variables,the use of Zhejiang Province,1995-2014 data,build extended STIRPAT Finally,according to the regression result,the influence degree of each factor is analyzed.Through the above analysis,the following conclusions are obtained: 1.Through the present situation of total carbon emissions in Zhejiang Province,the current status of carbon emissions of primary industry and primary energy carbon emissions,Zhejiang Province,the total carbon emissions increased from 1995 to 2014 Trend,but in recent years,growth slowed.Zhejiang Province,the industrial structure and energy structure to a certain degree of optimization and improvement,but at this stage the proportion of coal is still high,the industrial structure is still not very reasonable,the proportion of secondary industry is still large.2.The factors that affect carbon emissions in Zhejiang are: primary energy carbon intensity,energy structure,industrial structure,energy intensity of output,per capita GDP and population.3.The population factor has the greatest impact on carbon emissions in Zhejiang Province,followed by the industrial structure.Based on the above conclusions,this paper puts forward four policy suggestions: advocating a green low-carbon way of life;optimizing the industrial structure,building a low-carbon modern industrial system;adjusting the energy structure,building a low-carbon energy system.
