Empirical Analysis Of The Impact Of Industrial Structure Adjustment On China’s Discharge Of Pollutants

With the rapid development of industrialization and urbanization, economic growth is heavily depended on a large number of inputs and consumption in natural resources,and along with a lot of generation and emission of pollutants, in the long run, it caused massive imbalance in economic development and environmental quality. environmental pollution becomes serious, facing tremendous pressure to save energy. how to form industrial structure that is conducive to pollution reduction, controlling the generation and emission of pollutants from the source, is a major challenge in our country’s economic development at present stage. Therefore, the transformation of economic development, adjusting the industrial structure and promoting pollution reduction have showed more urgent. At the moment, as an important means of pollution reduction, the industrial restructuring has been widely concerned by domestic and foreign scholars for its impact and contribution to pollution reduction, and the great success has been made on the study. Chinese policy makers also pointed out that, starting from perspective of industrial structure, promoting pollution reduction,achieved pollution reduction targets.Under the background of developing low-carbon economy and promoting pollution reduction, with constrained by national pollution reduction policy, studying pollution reduction and adjustment of industrial structure as well as future trends,which has important practical significance for exploring the reduction of industrial pollution. So, we should take further steps to perfect the supporting policies and measures to promote the structure adjustment, achieving pollution reduction targets by industrial restructuring.This article aims to use the provincial panel data to analyze the result of pollution reduction through adjusting industrial structure. Firstly, summarizing the existing literature on the basis of relevant theories, combined with game theory and deeply analysized the impact of pollution reduction via adjustment of industrial structure. Then giving a empirical analysis of the impact of industrial restructuring for pollution reduction on the whole, and on such basis testifying the effect of adjusting industrial structure on pollution reduction from different regions. The results show that the adjustment of industrial structure slowing the growth of pollutant emissions amount to a certain extent, adjustment of industrial structure plays a significant role in reducing overall emissions,The implementation of pollution reduction benefits from the adjustment of industrial structure.Finally, combined with the empirical results, this paper further puts forward the corresponding counter measures and suggestions.
