Binding Machine is a type of special mechanical equipment designed for bundled packaging of industrial steel bar.Due to the harsh industrial environment,over-many actions of bundling operations for Binding Machine as well as high requirements of stability of control systems in terms of their automated production,the design of control systems for Binding Machine plays an especially important role in the process.Automata is a mathematical model of the system state changes.With the development of information science,automata theory has been widely used in many fields,and it provides theoretical model and algorithm for them.For the design of the control system,automata theory can effectively deals with all the dynamic discrete time sequence system,especially for the complex system,it can make the analysis,synthesize and realize of the system in their proper order.This paper designed the program of control system of Binding Machine based on automata theory.First,this paper focused on designing the finite automaton of Binding Machine by investigating the the basic structure,working principle,the working process and the input and output of Binding Machine and analyzing the state transformation of Binding Machine because of the different input sequence.Then,this paper gained the state trigger matrix and the state transition matrix based on the state assignment of the state diagram,the input expressions of the excitation of all the triggers can be gained,the output expressions can be gained on the basis of state assignment.In the end,the control program of Binding Machine can be compiled based on the input expressions and the output expressions.The Programmable Logic Controller is a new type of industrial control device suitable for thedesign of Binding Machine control systems,which is specifically designed to adapt to the new industrial environment.After completion of the PLC program,simulation software debugging was conducted in the first place,then debugs with PLC by pneumatic verification device,the result of design meets requirements of industrial control.
