Going by the no coal area leads to many problems such as the continuous difficulties of productivity, the increase of stripping volume, the accretion of stripping ratio, the increase of the transportation distance, the increase of the production cost an so on, which Shengli NO.1 mine has in the meanwhile. The paper studies the project that Shengli NO.1 mine goes by the no coal area to exploit.By collecting the basic statistics as the borehole data of open pit, the contour, the current situation of dump and making use of 3DMine software to structure the geological model of Shengli NO.1 opencast coal mine, we analog the mining process of no coal area. I pint forward remaining "island" programs and not remaining "island" mining plan, study the change of the engineering quantity an stripping ratio in different mining schemes. We put forward building four transportation system scheme as bridges without remaining "island", remain "islands" without building bridge and, not remain "islands" without building bridges, as certain the reasonable time of building bridges, the bridge parameters and the reasonable service height of bridges as well as optimizing the transportation system.
