The Case Study On Quality Management Of Petrochemical Wastewater Treatment Project Undertaken By M Company

With the rapid development of economy, the environment quality has become more and more serious. Recently, environmental pollution has become the biggest focus in recent years, especially sewage disposal problems. Petrochemical industry is one of the five major sewage industries which are recognized by the National Development and Reform Commission. However, the result of petrochemical industry sewage treatment is not very good, and the governance problem like high cost and long time has not been solved for a long time. Therefore, enhancing the quality management of petrochemical wastewater treatment project to ensure the quality of the project has extremely significance.This article adopts the method of case study into the study of the quality management of the petrochemical industry sewage treatment project. Through retrospective analysis of the petrochemical wastewater treatment project undertaken by M company, lots of quality management problems and deficiencies have been found. Then with the help of related theory and analysis method, we figure out the cause of the problem and put forward some corresponding improving measures.First of all, the paper looks into the process of the sewage treatment project and finds that there are some problems in the project in the aspect of quality management, including project quality goal setting, project organization and management and project quality controlling. Each aspect of the problem brings some kind of impacts on the quality of the project. Secondly, this paper reviews relevant classical theories, basic principles and relevant methods of project quality management. Based on relevant theories and methods, the paper finds out that the causes of quality management problem can be divided into three aspects which are awareness, institution and practice. Specially, they involve insufficient attention, lack of quality management system and improper project quality control. Finally, some countermeasures have been put forward which are increasing attention and input, establishing thorough organization system of project quality management and enhancing quality control of the whole process. All of these are used to improve project quality and provide some useful references for quality management of other petrochemical wastewater treatment projects.
