Guizhu province is located in the core of the karst area in southweast China and is also the largest and most concentrated karst ecological fragile area in world.(1)1836bryophytes specimen are collected and there 346 kinds of bryophytes including subspecies and varieties belonging to 126 genus and 55 families consisting of 12 dominant genus and 12 dominant families in Lengshui river(Jingsha county),Huangyang gully(Libo county),Nanjiang(Kaiyang county)and Maling river(Xingyi city).(2)In Lengshui river,there are 187 species belonging to 84 genus and 45 families including 5 dominant genus and 5 dominant families.In Huangyang gully,there are116 species belonging to 68 genus and 34 families including 4 dominant genus and 7dominant families.In Maling river,there are 124 species belonging to 59 genus and33 families including 4 dominant genus and 8 dominant families.(3)In Nanjiang,there are 130 species belonging to 69 genus and 36 families including 5 dominant genus and 7 dominant families and a new record species Cololejeunea schwabei was found.Bryophyte ? diversity index in the karst ravines area was analyzed based on the23 samples,(1)Simpson index and Pielou index of bryophytes are the highest in Lengshui river,Shannon index is the highest of bryophytes in Huangyang gully.(2)Combine with the habitat in different place,Lengshui river has many tributaries and good-protection primeval forest without human activities,which provide suitableenvironment for the growth of bryophyte.Huangyang gully has mang underground river and high forest vegetation canopy with high humidity and proper temperature,which also create a perfect place for the growth of bryophyte.For the depth of these ravines,the ravine gap between Maling river and Nanjiang river reaches more than200 m,in which there are many bare rock,rare vegetation leading to the low diversity of bryophytes.According to the study of cenological communities of bryophytes from karst ravines.The result is that:(1)The bryophyte mainly grow as Petrophytai in Guizhou karst ravines.The proportion of Xero-petrophytia community is similar to that of Hygro-petrophytia.(2)There are lots of Hygro-geophytia.(3)There is only Nareidia without Natantia and Helodia.(4)There are few epiphylls bryophyte.According to the study of geographical types of bryophytes from karst ravines can be divided into 14 geographical flora types.There are mainly east Asia composition and east Asia composition > China-Japan > China – Himalayan.Tropical and subtropical components are second big component and temperate components is the third big floristic composition in karst area,as well as Chinese unique components is less.Compare the comprehensive richness coefficient of bryophytes species between karst ravine and other nine regions,(1)the comprehensive richness coefficient of bryophytes species in Yueliang mountain is the highest,followed by Duliu river reserve,Longtou mountain lowest ranked the fourth.(2)Compare with the bryophyte diversity in 10 regions in Guizhou province,the bryophytes diversity in karst area is similar to Yunwu mountain,Yueliang mountain,Bada mountain and Yinjiang nature reserve and is different from that in Longtou mountain and Shibing karst area.
