Species Diversity Of Bryophytes In Qianjiangyuan National Park

Qianjiangyuan National Park is located in Kaihua County in southwestern Zhejiang Province.There are large areas of relatively well preserved natural subtropical evergreen broad-leaved forests and a large number of endangered wild species in the park.It is the world's advanced biodiversity research area,and the national biodiversity conservation is prioritized.It is also one of the ten national park system pilot projects.As the second largest group of higher plants,bryophytes play a huge role in protecting the ground surface,conserving water sources and maintaining the stability of the ecosystem.Therefore,it is necessary to carry out a survey of bryophyte diversity in Qianjiangyuan National Park.However,owing to the scope of the research,the level of bryophytes classification and data analysis 30 years ago,the former research results have gradually lost their reference value.In order to grasp more comprehensive and accurate bryophytes species diversity data,and to have a more in-depth understanding of the distribution and flora characteristics of bryophytes in the park,the author has repeatedly visited Qianjiangyuan National Park to investigate bryophytes resources,hoping to provide theoretical data for research,protection and utilization of bryophyte diversity in Qianjiangyuan National Park and Zhejiang Province.The results of the study are as follows:A total of more than 1,500 bryophytes specimens are collected.Three hundred and seventy-two species of bryophytes belonging to 168 genera in 74 families are confirmed,including 132 species in 53 genera of 31 families of liverworts,238 species in 113 genera of 41 families of mosses,two species in two genera of two families of hornworts.There are six dominant genera such as Cololejeunea,and nine dominant families such as Lejeuneaceae.One hundred and twenty-six species are added to the bryophyte flora of Qianjiangyuan National Park,including two species of hornworts,60 species of liverworts,and 64 species of mosses.Nine species are newly reported for Zhejiang Province.Thirteen species are deleted from the bryophyte flora of Zhejiang.Two endangered bryophytes,Lejeunea pallidevirens and Riccia nipponica,occur in Qianjiangyuan National Park.Twenty species of epiphyllous liverworts were founded in Qianjiangyuan National Park,belonging to nine genera in four families.Three Sphagnum species with important ecological and application value,and four Leucobryum species with huge market space are present in Qianjiangyuan National Park.The bryophytes in Qianjiangyuan National Park mainly live on rocks,soil and tree trunks.The bryophyte diversity of Qianjiangyuan National Park decreases monotonously with increasing altitude.The geographical composition of bryophytes in Qianjiangyuan National Park is dominated by East Asian elements,Northern Temperate elements,and Tropical Asian elements.It is consistent with its geographical location in the subtropical region of eastern China.Based on the species richness,similarity coefficients,cluster analysis results of six adjacent mountainous areas,the areas closely related to the bryophyte flora of Qianjiangyuan National Park are Daiyunshan in Fujian,Yangjifeng in Jiangxi and Qingliangfeng in Zhejiang.
