Focus on the country under the new situation of the construction of the development of reality and the need,at the end of 2010,vice premier Ke-qiang Li instructions state bureau of surveying and mapping to strengthen basic surveying and mapping and geographic conditions monitoring,focus on the development and utilization of geographic information resources;On March 7,2011,the state bureau of surveying and mapping and shaanxi province people’s government signed a cooperation agreement in Beijing,shaanxi province become the country’s first geographical conditions monitoring pilot provinces [1];Geographical conditions,monitoring projects,has made the preliminary monitoring results,geographical conditions monitoring work content,technical methods and improving the architecture.But so far,is stored in the history of the national and provincial surveying and mapping department of a large number of documents has not been the geographic conditions monitoring work in a big range,systematic use,resulting in unnecessary waste and loss of information resources.Therefore,surveying and mapping industry in promoting geographic conditions monitoring of the moment,it is necessary to comprehensively review the geographical connotation of monitoring the state of the union,in actively do a good job of "now" geographical conditions monitoring at the same time,look back "yesterday" geographic conditions,mining with prudence,the research history of geographic information,in order to obtain valuable historical data support and service conditions of today.Based on the history of surveying and mapping geographic information as the research object,from four aspects of historical archives of surveying and mapping information mining and research.First of all,through to the domestic several historical archives of surveying and mapping file archive collection situation of examination and investigation,find out domestic present situation of the collection of the existing historical information,the application situation and the expression method,and then based on the part of the archives information collection,research,historical geographical information expression to grope for sorting out the applicable research ideas and methods;Starting point for information application,the history should include the contents of geographic information analysis,determine the historical geographic information data specifications and indicator;Secondly,in the technology made the technical route of gaining information and requirements,to the experimental zone information acquisition has carried out experimental study.Third,at the application level by historical geographical information in the practical application of archaeological industry as an example,this paper expounds the history geography information in a unified coordinate system,the ruins of the ancient positioning analysis,site change analysis,and the role of old channel research,fully affirmed the archaeological history of geographic information in the work of the significance of development,open the historical geography information broad application prospects.All kinds of data,based on the collection and access to information display,data temporal evolution and comparative analysis,for the purpose of research and development of the history of geographical information application service platform prototype system,realized the historical geographic information both intuitive display and systematic management,also for the application and popularization of the historical geography information modernization solutions,provides the necessary technical means for potential applications.Summary of related technical documents,this study can provide historical geographical conditions provide technical assistance to scale the implementation of data production,provides history geography situation analysis and application demonstration,provide a reference for geographical conditions to establish the system of monitoring technology.I also hope this research can arouse people to the dusty history memory of geographic information resources,regulation of historical geography information use and sprang out of the application.
