Qinling National Botanical Garden is located in the northern slope of the Qinling Mountains and planning area is 639km2,which is the largest botanical garden of the world. In recent years,it is important to protect the botanical garden which dues to the destruction of the botanical garden caused by a variety of human interference. Therefore through the research and analysis this paper provides a theoretical basis and realistic basis for the protection and optimization of botanical communities in botanical gardens.Using GIS and other methods to analyze the spatial pattern of vegetation in the study area, the vegetation distribution law was obtained at three scales, and then on the basis of the classification of vegetation communitiesand evaluate the types by AHPproposing optimization and recovery methods corresponding to the scale. This paper is divided into six parts. The first chapter is the introduction which mainly introduces the research background, the purpose and significance of researchresearch contents, research methods, the review of this reeearch,as well as the definition of some concepts. The second chapter is the study on the spatial pattern of vegetation in the northern piedmont of Qinling Mountains.Qinling National Botanical Garden is located in the northern piedmont of the Qinling Mountains.Starting from the macro level,it analyzes the present situation of vegetation spatial pattern and the law of zonal vegetation distribution. From the mesoscopic level, the vegetation spatial pattern of seven watersheds in the botanical garden is studied, and the vertical distribution of vegetation in this area is obtained.Chapter 3 is a study on the spatial pattern of vegetation in the Tianyu river, which is the core valley of Qinling National Botanical Garden.Basing on the vegetation composition and vegetation flora of Tianyu River, the distribution pattern of vegetation type is concluded. The fourth chapter is thestudy on the spatial pattern of vegetation in the flora of Tianyu River.Based on the analysis of the third chapter, the five vegetation types in the Tianyu area were analyzed. It concludes three gradients by ecological efficiency and visual quality, according to the weight and the score. The first level is deciduous broad-leaved forest, coniferous forest Coniferous and broad-leaved mixed forest the second level is alpine shrub, the third level farming landscape. The fifth chapter is strategies of the protect and optimize these three levels of vegetation community landscape from the macro, meso, micro three scales. The macroscopic aspect is mainly the protection of vegetation plots, and the meso is mainly optimized from the aspects of visual quality and ecological efficiency. The microcosmic is mainly aimed at optimizing the vegetation selection and niche control in the farming area. The sixth chapter is the conclusion. The three scales of vegetation distribution are summarized, and the research results are summarized. The innovation of this paper is as follows: the first is the particularity of the section, taking the Qinling National Botanical Garden as the main research area,it fills the blank of the vegetation research in this area;the second is the space is multidimensional,it analysis the spatial pattern of vegetation and puts forward the corresponding optimization model; The third is the technology is scientific,it use GIS method and APH,which combine the Qualitative and quantitative methods,so that the complex spatial problems can be decomposed and it converts into pattern language.
