Hohhot Biodiversity Protection Research

Biological diversity serves to ensure human resources that human being relay on for survival and development.This article,targeting at Hohhot City,discussed the development directions and specific measures of urban biodiversity conservation by investigating urban biodiversity.Based on the advanced examples and theories at home and abroad,this article delivered the following conclusions:(1)Combined with the investigations for parks,squires and road Greening,the paper classified and analyzed 189 kinds of common plants and t 89 kinds of wiId animals in Hohhot and Mount Daqing area.The results shows that plant distribution system is far from pleasant,and the landscape diversity of the plants is low.Meanwhile,it's urgent to protect the birds and fish due to few kinds of species.(2)Make clear the overall planning objectives and proceedings of biodiversity conservation planning.It's essential to connect natural ecological barrier in North Mount Daqing,and gradually embed the existing biodiversity resources,as ecological green wedge into the city to maintain the overall urban ecosystem.Furthermore,to further improve the urban biological diversity,it's significant to connect various ecological plaques within the city,and expend urban green area.(3)To protect the diversity of plants,animals and microorganisms in Hohhot,relevant plans should be produced,so does the measures and advice.According to the different types of ecological system of Hohhot city,the protection structure features "a ring,two and five".The ultimate goal is to restore the ecological environment of Hohhot and protect the biodiversity of Hohhot.(4)Build five south and north,four east and west ecological corridors in the city.Combined with the corridor,the city and the outer suburbs and other water bodies should be connected as a grid of green protection system with western rivers,offering passage for the conservation of biodiversity.
