Yongjia County due to its special geological environment, coupled with strong human activities and adverse weather, frequent geological disasters, disaster prevention and mitigation situation is grim. This paper analyzes the geological environment and the development characteristics, distribution, influencing factors and geological disaster susceptibility of the geological environment in the study area, and obtains the following research results:1.The study of the types of geological disasters, the developmental characteristics and the law of time and space distributionThe geological disasters in the study area are mainly landslide, followed by collapse and debris flow. The development of geological disasters is mainly related to the strong typhoon rainstorm and strong human engineering activities.2.Division of geological disasters proneIn this paper, precipitation, topographic slope, altitude, rock type, fault distance and human engineering activity were selected as the evaluation indexes. The analytic hierarchy process and the GIS information model were used to classify the geological disasters. And finally divided into nine high-risk geological disasters prone area,14 medium-prone areas,a low-prone areas and 13 not vulnerable areas.
