Geographic Information System(GIS) has developed into a trend of computer information system because of its visual function.GIS is a burgeoning technology and an intersected and marginal subject based on computer. It is a technological system studying spatial data. Supported by computer hardware, GIS can process all kinds of spatial data as well as the interactive relations between them according to their geo-coordinates or spatial locations.With the help of multi-factor complex analysis, it can rapidly capture the information which satisfies certain needs of application, and can demonstrate the processed results in the form of figures and data.GIS has the powerful data processing and spatial analysis functions, and which is the ordinary tool of investigation and dividing district of geological disaster, however, it is difficult to deal with the geologica disaster's level quantitatively only depending on GIS. Consequently, this thesis sets up the divided district assessment model of frequent geologic disaster's level, which to be lead to by muti-classification fuzzy pattern recognition model, discuss combing GIS with frequent geologic disaster's level of district assessment model is a new method that deals with the geologic disaster investigation and divided district project. It provide a new theoretical method.According to geo-environment characteristic, summing up predecessor's experience, the paper has set up the occurrence level of geologic disaster district assessment and established classifying standard of index. After that,the paper analyzes systematically quantifying method of index, sifting method of index-comparing one with one method and conditional broad least variance method, and weighting method of index-analytic hierarchy weighting process. The theory of multi-classification fuzzy pattern recognition model is introduced comprehensively, which is based on the relative membership and function. The analysis module of muti-classification fuzzy pattern recognition model is developed with VB software, for the purpose of geo-environment quality assessment. Based on the development platform of MAPGIS6.7, the spatial graph database is established. By linking outside database, the property database is performed. Then GIS transfers the property database with interface, so as to achieve link between graph and property, thus forming spatial database. By middle data document,the integation is accomplished between the assessment Analysis module and GIS,thereby achieving transferring data of both sides and carrying on spatial analysis.The thesis takes Dali County's investigation of geologic disaster project,analyzes its geology environment background, chooses the rnain factors influencing geo-environment quality, and establishes the spatial graph database and property database of Dali county's geologic disaster. Based on this system,the level of frequent happening district is assessed, and the result shows that the level of frequent geologic disaster is classified three classes: moderate district, low district and not growable district. So it futher indicates that the system is feasible and very practical and that the assessment model is rational.
