The application of remote sensingand GIS to geology, mineral exploration and mapping is increasing with availability of multispectral remote sensing data cheaply and its higher spectral resolution, and image enhancement methods which aid interpretation and visualization.Using of this technique can describe a big part in geology information such as fault pattern mapping,,rock and lineament mapping, especially with advanced remote sensing techniques and the use of bands rationing combination. The aim of this study was to correlate and detect the anomaly between two geological maps. Therefore,Landsat 8 used to determining suitable bands suited for geological mapping and structuralin the study area. The methodology consist decorrelation stretch of the Principal Component Analysis with the highest contrast, band rationing, examining false color combinations, performing principal component and factor loading analysis intensity, saturation transformation and then performing knowledge base classification.Thermal infrared bands of Landsat-8 significantly improved the quality and availability of thermal infrared remote sensing data for geological mapping, which is broadly applicable for geological purposes in the future for prospecting guide, potential area of mineral resources update and elaborate a new geological map.
