Lattice-Gas Cellular Automata(LGA)method now has been 40 years of history since its birth in 1970 s and development in 1980 s.It has developed into a selectable numerical method for solving partial differential equation and hydrodynamic problems.Compared with traditional computational fluid dynamics(CFD)method,lattice-gas automata have many unique advantages. For example: high speed of calculation, good parallelism,no error in the operation process etc.Because of these advantages, latticegas automata received extensive attention by the scientific researchers at the end of the last century. But it still has some shortcomings about statistical noise, difficult to simulate high Reynolds number problems.Scientists have done a lot of work in these areas, and have gotten several results. The quantum lattice-gas automata model based on the idea of traditional lattice-gas cellular automata was produced in the new century. It needs to attract enough attention to scientific researchers because of its high data processing capability and substantial increment in the speed of calculation. This paper mainly explores the FHP-II lattice-gas cellular automata model.Study on its operation process, program implementation and mathematical basis. And the author use several hydrodynamic problems as examples to verify the feasibility of simulation low Reynolds hydrodynamic problems by using FHP-II lattice-gas automata. The structure of this paper is as follows:In the chapter 1,the introduction part, mainly introduces the development history and research status of lattice-gas automata. In the second chapter, the paper explores the operation rules of FHP-II lattice-gas automata and its program implementation. In the chapter 3,from the mathematical theory, several hypotheses are given to explore the relation between lattice-gas automata evolution equation and Navier-Stokes equation in hydrodynamics. In the chapter 4,three hydrodynamics problems are given as numerical examples to verify the feasibility of simulation low Reynolds hydrodynamic problems by using FHP-II lattice-gas automata. Finally,in the chapter 5,the conclusion and some prospects in this field are given.
