Due to the existence of complex joints and structural planes,the stability analysis and evolution of jointed rock slopes have long been the bottleneck and the problem of design in view of this situation,how to properly simulate the jointed rock mass is the key to the success of joint rock slope stability analysis.In the field of rock and soil,the block model analysis method is suitable for analysis of jointed rock masses,such as discrete element method,discontinuous deformation analysis method,and segmentation method.Because the development and application of the block model analysis method is constrained by its own theoretical system,it is difficult to effectively exert its due value to the present.This is really a pity.This paper proposes a block cell automaton model combining the block model theory with the cellular automata theory that has significant advantages in the analysis of complex system behaviors.The automatic function simulates most of the complicated systems and the evolution process is very rich.It only needs to satisfy its basic characteristics.The core is to determine the update rules.In this paper,the geotechnical specimens are discretized into a block cell automaton model in which neighboring cells will influence each other,and separated units will have no influence.The solution mechanism of the block model cellular automata was introduced into the solution process,and the system was updated through loop iterations to find the surface forces of each cell in the model.Renewal was a reciprocal process from balance to balance being broken to final rebalancing.The final system will stabilize.This paper corresponds to the theory of the development of numerical simulation software BMCSA(Block Cellular Automata for rock and soil Specimen),The analysis software mainly disperses the geotechnical specimens into a block cell automaton model to find the surface force values when each cell tends to be stable.The BMCSA analysis software is easy to operate and the data results are clearly visible.For the theory,in the cycle iteration of the whole model,each cell is supposed to move in the same direction.In fact,the cell does not have displacement.The purpose is to facilitate calculation.The rule of cell renewal is that the current computing cell and its neighboring cells will evolve according to the established rules until the model reaches the final equilibrium.Block model Cellular automata analysis does not require as many assumptions.It simply assumes that the links between the cells are interacted by spring restraints.Finally,by verifying that the analysis is feasible,the result is reasonable.In this thesis,the analysis of jointed rock mass is a new approach,which lays the foundation for subsequent in-depth research on the related problems of joint rock slope.
