Tung tree(Vernicia fordii(Hemsl.)Airy Shaw)is a deciduous tree which belongs to Vernicia in Euphorbiaceae.It is a kind of woody oil plant,originally grows in China.The whole plant is toxic.It has a lot of functions of digestion,diuresis,detumescence,insecticide,and reducing phlegm.The study use seven regions fresh Tung seeds picked from Fujian,Jiangxi,Yunnan,Hubei,Sichuan,Shaanxi,and Guangxi provinces were as raw materials.The Tung oils were extracted by ligarine.The result shows that the oil highest content reaches 65.60%in the seed from Yunnan.The Tung oils were treated by BF3-CH3 OH methyl ester,and then the compositions of fatty acids were determined by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC6890N/MSD5973N).We found thirty-nine kinds of fatty acids,among which oleic acid is the highest to 30.61%,and the linoleic acid reaches to 19.36%.The Tung meals were as raw materials,analyzed by Kjeldahl and amino acid.The results showed crude protein content of Tung meal is 36.73%,and after ethanol that crude protein content accounts for 32.61%.Hydrolyzed protein contains 17 amino acids,accounting for 32.90% of the total mass of Tung meal,which contains lysine,aspartic acid,leucine and some other animal's essential amino-acid compositions.That can be a good source of protein for livestock feed,and make a foundation for Tung meal resources with comprehensive development and utilization.The Tung meals were as raw materials,de-fatted.The corresponding extracts were got by reflux extraction with 95% ethanol,and extracted by n-butyl alcohol.Then extracted with n-butanol,went through column chromatography of D101 macro porous resin,silica gel and Sephadex gel.We got a monomeric compound.On the basis of physical-chemical properties and mass spectrometry data,the structure of the product is determined to 12-deoxyhorbol-13-hexadecanoate.Alcohol extract and aqueous extract of Tung meal were used to study on the effect of bacteria(Bacillus subtilis,Escherichia coli)and mycete(Penicillium and Aspergillus Niger).The results showed that both alcohol extract and aqueous extract have inhibitory effect on 4 kinds of tested bacteria.Conclusions are as follows: the activestrong-to-weak sequence of bacteriostatic of alcohol extract effects on bacteria and mycete is Escherichia coli,bacillus subtilis,penicillium,aspergillus Niger;of aqueous extract is penicillium,bacillus subtilis,aspergillus Niger,Escherichia coli.We studied on the virulence of extract from Tung meal to Enchytraeidae and Aphid.According to the results of toxicity regression that the insecticidal effect strong-to-weak of alcohol extract is Enchytraeidae,Aphid.And the insecticidal effect strong-to-weak of aqueous extract is Aphid,Enchytraeidae.The virulence effect of the alcohol extract:Lethal Concentration of Enchytraeidae(LC50)is 27.857mg/ml and LC50 of Aphid is54.033mg/ml.The virulence effect of aqueous extract: LC50 of Enchytraeidae is38.317mg/ml mg/ml and LC50 of Aphid is 73.786mg/ml.The Xylene-induced mouse auricle swelling model and Ovalbumin-induced allergic mice model were established to study the inhibitory effect of water extract of Tung meal.The results showed that with the increase of the concentration of aqueous extract,the auricle tumefaction degree mouse was increased from 0.0042 g to 0.0093 g,and the inhibition rate of swelling was decreased,and the inflammatory effect occurred visibly.The study of allergic mice showed that the role of allergic reaction increases with the concentration of the aqueous extract,and the time of mice from allergic to recovery was shorter.
