The Pingtou town in Shaanxi Province is a disaster-prone area,such as collapse,landslide and debris flow.Because of the complexity of the geological conditions and climate factors,geological disasters in the area occur frequently,which not only cause serious property damage,but also pose a great threat to people’s life and safety.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to study the occurrence law and risk zoning of geological disasters in Pingtou Town to improve the ability of the disasters prevention and monitoring in the study area.Based on the ArcGIS software,the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method and the improved statistical analysis method are used to the hazard assessment of geological disasters,which is based on the area of the Pingtou town in Chencang District,Baoji City,Shaanxi Province.The main results are as follows:(1)The geological environment conditions,the distribution regularity and the developmental characteristics of the geological disasters in the study area are synthetically analyzed to determine the the index system and grading standard of the evaluation,and the correlation analysis of the influence factors of the geological disasters is carried out in the study area.(2)The improving method of the hazard zoning of geological disastersis puts forward based on the traditional statistical method.Statistical and improved statistical evaluation methods are used to the regional hazard assessment of geological disasters.(3)Based on GIS,fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method is adopted,and the membership risk level of each grid is calculated by using matlab software and maximum membership principle,and the result of hazard zoning of geological disasters is obtained in the study area.(4)The qualitative and quantitative validity tests of the evaluation results of the three evaluation methods are carried out,and the evaluation results of these three methods are compared and analyzed according to the superposition of the risk zoning results and the actual digital map of geological disasters and the AUC curve.The results show that the risk zoning results based on the improved statistical analysis method are more accurate.(5)Based on the result of hazard zoning,combined with the geological characteristics of Pingtou town,the geological disasters is divided into high-risk area,middle-risk area,low-risk area and non-risk area,and the comprehensive zoning resullt of geological disasters of Pingtou town is successfully carried out in the study area.
