China is a country with a vast terrioy, abundant resource and long civilizedhistory. Thousands of anthropologicical activities, especially the high-speeddevelopment of economy and excessive increase of population these several tenyears, aggravate the requirement of nature.Irriational engineering of humankindis aggravating the danger of geological hazards day by day. Defending andreducing disasters have become a very pressing, inevitable and realistic socialproblem. The world attaches much importance to zoning and evaluation ofgeological hazard, which is basic practice.Based on the things upwards,the article combine work of geological hazardsurvey item"The survy and Zoning of geological hazard in the Jingyu city ofjilin"(NO.200412300061)issued by the Minstry of Land and Resource P.R.C,use the disaster and territorial geological environment datas investigated on thespot.apply" Fuzzy Based on fuzzy mathematics" to the zoning and evaluation ofgeological hazard then discuss the rationality. The aim is to use fuzzymathematics to satisfy the requirement of facility, practicality and rationalityput forward by practice.The discovery and development and application of fuzzy mathematics isintroduced in paper.Then fuzzy comprehensive evaluation is also introduced,whose basic idea includes some aspect. Evaluation factor set and degree ofmembership about each factor and evaluation set are definited. Fuzzy matrix isestablished. Weight matrix about each factor is decided and evaluation resultmatrix and evaluation result is definited.This method is applied to zone and evaluate the geological hazard in theJingyu city to jilin.introduce territorial situation in detail.The method is todivide the whole evaluation area into 331 units.Considering the nature andhuman factors, casualty development degree,geomorphy, formation lithologiccharacters,geologic structure,human project are choosed as 5 evaluation factors.The 001 unit is choosed as agent and quantifed each evaluation factor. Thedegree of membership is calculated and fuzzy relation matrix and weight aredefinited.Finally evaluation result matrix is calculated and get the uint as greatgeological hazard zone.The remain units are used the same methods. Each unit about the degree ofgeological hazard are definited and the zoning map about geological hazard isdrawed by Mapgis.Then based on the development of geological hazardexisting condition and geology environment setting conditions, the whole areais divided as high geological hazard, middle geological hazard, low geologicalhazard,none-geological hazard. The area is 1935.28km2, 230.84km2, 538.88km2,389.40km2,occupying the whole area 62.54%, 7.46%, 17.42% and 12.58%respectively.Based on the foundation, some prevention suggestion is putted forwards to.The evaluation of geological hazard susceptibility is not only the foundation ofdeep understand of endangered status,but also provide scientificgist to frameprevent and cure countermeasure,to layout prevent and cure area,to put preventand cure measure in practice,to optimize and mangeitem and so on.Fuzzycomprehensive evaluation is applied in the evaluation of geological hazardsusceptibility,which made calculation and practicability simple and easy.And itcan be used in the evaluation of geological hazard susceptibility in other areasand supplies us work foundiation in the future.
