The concept of "the Belt and Road" refers to "Silk Road Economic Belt" and"21st century maritime Silk Road",including 66 countries distributed across Asia,Africa and Europe.In those countries,there are huge differences from their national conditions such as population,politics,economy,history,culture and so on.With the promotion and implementation of the strategy,government agencies and scholars from different fields have been conducting abundant researches relevant to the Belt and Road based on those differences.All these researches need large raw data for support as well as produce abundant valuable data,which has the attributes of spatial differentiation and multi-source and it is difficult to be presented and managed through traditional approaches.Accordingly,if there is a platform that can integrate,distribute,share and visualize those massive information,it will create great significance for the government to make scientific decisions as well as the contribution of deeper teaching and learning.In this paper,we used the technology and theory of WebGIS as a guidance and construct the information visualization and management system for countries along the Belt and Road based on the digital earth platform Cesium.Firstly,we studied suitable solution to organize data.For spatial data,we managed them unified and integrated.For non-spatial data,we proposed a unified data organization standard and then proposed a method to convert these non-spatial data into spatial data by GeoJSON.Secondly,we studied and proposed several methods for interactive data visualization according to data attribute and user demands such as interactive query,thematic map,spatio temporal data dynamic display,3d real video,interactive charts.Finally,we adapted techniques of Cesium?Ajax?HTML?CSS?JavaSript?MySQL?PHP?Echarts?D3 comprehensively and then constructed a web-based data visualization and management system,which realized the integration,distribution,visualization,and share of multivariate data arcross the globe on the internet.The studies and researches of this paper has great theoretical and practical significance.The method to visualize and manage categorical data has the advantages T T of easy implementation,strong scalability and interactivity so as to make it easier to distribute,integrated and share data.Users can display,query and analyze data.Application of the system is helpful for scientific decision-making,deeper teaching and learning and knowledge popularization.
