Zizania latifolia(Griseb.),also called wild rice,is a perennial grass belonging to the tribe Oiyzeae,and is thus related to rice(Oryza sativa L.).In our country,Z.latifolia mainly distributed in the northeast,south and east area,most of them growing in the wetland,lake basin in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze river.Z.latifolia has nutrition value,ecological value,ornamental value and the value of the gene mining with the promising prospects.Z.latifolia have a very strong resistance to rice diseases such as rice blast and sheath blight with a strong heat resistance and cold resistance and other excellent features,which is a valuable source of excellent exogenous genetic resources in rice breeding.Therefore,the survey of Z.latifolia germplasm resources in China and the study of genetic diversity has important significance.This study investigates and analysises the Z.latifolia germplasm resources in southwest of our country,and doing the phenotypic level and molecular level of genetic diversity and genetic structure analysis,understanding the general situation and genetic richness of Z.latifolia germplasm resources in this region,providing a certain basis for protection and utilization of the local Z.latifolia germplasm resources.The main results were as follows:1.Using the method of combining the literature review,visiting,and field investigation,we investigate and analysis distribution,habitat,and the group status of Z.latifolia in the southwest region.Results showed that the region has less Z.latifolia germplasm,with a lot of damage in the parts,even endangered in some regions,thus we put forward the urgency of the protection,germplasm resources protection and utilization of countermeasures.2.We made analysis and evaluation of garden application in Z.latifolia in southwest China,analyzing the advantages of the Z.latifolia garden application,application forms.The Z.latifolia match with other landscape elements,are forming the austere landscape,which will be used more and more in the landscape.3.We made degree of variation analysis,principal component analysis,cluster analysis and correlation analysis of characters and geographical factors of 25 Z.latifolia 91 samples in Southwest region in a total of of leaf length,width,area of the seven leaf morphological characters.Results showed that the foliar variation range is 25.35%25.35%,the average coefficient of variation 38.19%,reflecting that the Z.latifolia germplasm resources in the region having abundant genetic diversity;The principal component analysis results show that most of the variation information has two principal components,the cumulative contribution rate was 99.613%.Among them,the first principal component contribution rate was 82.788%,the largest contribution to the force of the leaf morphological characters was followed by length(0.999)and circumference(0.999);The second principal component only has one shape factor(0.994),the independent contribution rate 16.825%.Related analysis result will divided the 25 groups into three major categories;Correlation analysis results show that the leaf traits is negatively related to the elevation into the region,including the correlation between altitude and the length are the largest,Pearson correlation coefficient is 0.773.4.Using the 19 SSR primers in this project preliminary screened out,we analysis genetic diversity and genetic structure of the 25 Z.latifolia groups in the Southwest,including Yunnan Province,Guizhou Province,Sichuan Province,Chongqing Province Analysis results in the region of Zlatifolia the percentage of polymorphic bands(PPL)was 91.37%,the number of alleles observed(Na)2.5,effective number of alleles(Ne)1.6192,Nei's genetic diversity index(H),Shannon's information diversity index(I)0.3522 and 0.5194,indicating that Z.latifolia in the region having abundant genetic diversity.5.Genetic structure analysis concluded that the total gene diversity(Ht)is 0.3541,intraspecific gene diversity(Hs)0.3265,and interspecific genetic differentiation coefficient of Gst is 0.3883,interspecies gene flow 0.7876(<1),showing that genetic drift in the Z.latifolia genetic differentiation in southwest China have played a role.Various groups between the of Nei's genetic consistency(GI)are between 0.6293 to 0.9672,Nei's genetic distance(GD)between 0.0257 to 0.4396.Clustering analysis as a result.the threshold value is 0.202,The 25 groups be divided into 6 groups,when the threshold is 0.212,the first group can be divided into four subgroups,the clustering result and their distribution has no obvious correlation.
