Ribosome biogenesis is a fundamental and tightly regulated cellular process,including synthesis,processing,and assembly of rRNAs with ribosomal proteins.Ribosome is a dense ribonucleoprotein particles,consists of dozens of structural protein and rRNA.The rDNA encoding ribosomal RNA is medium repeat and transcription activity gene family in genomic DNA.rDNA generally consists of transcribed sequence and non-transcribed spacers.Transcribed sequence including 5S,5.8S,18S and 28S rDNA,among them,18S,5.8S,and 28S rDNA composed a transcription unit,to produce RNA precursor.The 45S/35S pre-rRNA is composed of various parts of sequences:a 5'external transcribed sequence(ETS),inter-nal transcribed sequences(ITS)1 and 2,and a 3'ETS that underwent a series of rRNA processing steps.Lack of rRNA maked the ribosome can not effectively play the function of the protein synthesis,which affected the intracellular protein translation level,resulting in defect occurred in different phases of the cell growth development.M60 is a conserved gene with an extensive expression pattern during most development stages of Arabidopsis.Analysis results show that,compared with the wild type in Arabidopsis Thaliana,the M60 plants dwarf obviously,and leaf margin incision,root is significantly shorter.Through further observation,we found that the m60 root tip cell number significantly less than the wild type.M60 is a conserved gene with an extensive expression pattern during most development stages of Arabidopsis.Analysis results show that,compared with the wild type in Arabidopsis Thaliana,the M60 plants dwarf obviously,and leafinargin incision,root is significantly shorter.Through further observation,we found that the m60 root tip cell number significantly less than the wild type.The eukaryotic ribosome biosynthesis and its regulation mechanism research in budding yeast is clear,while the related research in the higher plants are very limited.After we compare in yeast and found its homologous genes in yeast is nucleolus positioning,and by influencing the pre-rRNA mature to influence the formation of large 60s ribosomal subunits.And construct the m60 fusion protein localization results show is also expressed in the cell nucleus.Based on research in the homologous genes in yeast,it also enlightened us that m60 in arabidopsis thaliana is related with ribosomes biogenesis.
