In recent years, our national economy is developing rapidly. In order to satisfy the increasing demand for power, we must reconstruct and expanse the power grids of urban and rural. The project involves a lot of power lines reconstruction and equipment renewal.Therefore, power management is an important content to county electric power supply enterprise.Moreover,constantly changing urban,streets,buildings and load information, all need a system provided with updating changing line equipment, convenient maintenance and management, to meet the manufacturing construction and development needs of current distribution network.For this purpose, the thesis is based on the application in the power distributing network of the GIS and the development of Power Distribution Network Service Information System. The disadvantages of the classic management system are analyzed in the thesis, the advantage are elaborated of utilizing GIS to manage the power distributing network, and several GIS platforms are compared as well as development methods. The thesis establishes the Power Distribution Network geography data model which is suitable for Power Distribution Network topology analysis and completes the Power Distribution Network map, and then has solved the Power Distribution Data fragmentation problem, also has realized the attribute data and the spatial data unified management.This thesis addresses a solution program of Power Geography Information System based on the Web technology. This program adopts the theory of three-tiered structure to frame the system and uses Oracle Spatial to restore information data. It focuses on the method of modeling spatial data of Power Geography Information System. In the end, the WebGIS system of Power Supplying Company in Xianghe County is developed by utilizing the software product and made into circulation. The practice result indicates that the Power Geography Information System based on Web technology has the advantages of simple operation, reducing cost on a large scale, and making full use of system resources. Therefore, it obtains high praise of relative sectors.
