Evaluation About Endangerd Degree And Conservation Of Rare Wild Plants In Jiangsu

The rare wild plants in Jiangsu were selected in line with the survey data on plant species, distributions and popution size, some relevent documents and rules, covering 81 species which include 17 protected plant of China. It is found that rare wild plants in Jiangsu are mainly distributed in the places where had little human-caused destruction, better vegetation preservation, and abundant species, such as Yili mountains,Suzhou hills,Ningzhen mountains,Mao mountains,Xuyi hills,Yuntai mountains and Xuzhou hills. Distrubution and current living situation were investigated to record their community-types, resource utilization, habitat, human disturbance etc. Conservation priority of the wild rare species were evaluated according to endanged degree, genetic value, Species value, conservation status and 12 indexes. The weight of indexes was distributed by Analytical Hierarchy Process and expert consultation.The main research results are as followed:1. There were 11 relative safetv species and 70 end(?) critically endangered species,15 endangered species and 49 vulnerable species.The evaluation priority for conservation showed that there were 9 general species and 72 protected plants.The protected plants divided into 10 first grade plants,25 second grade plants and 37 third grade plants.2. System of endangered degree and protection assessment for rare wild plants in Jiangsu was elementarily formed. The endangered degree evaluation was in high consistence with China Species red list, so was the protection assessment, which indicated the scientificalness of the indexes. Based on assessment results, this thesis analyzed the situation of critically endangerd plants in Jiangsu and threaded reasons, then countermeasures to protect were given.3.The rare and protected plant list of Jiangsu was basically confirmed according to threatened and key proteciton plants in this assessment, and the species composition and distribution were also analyzed.Uneven distribution was the dictinctive feature for these plants in Jiangsu. Most of the rare and protected plants distributed in Yili mountains, Ningzhen mountains, Suzhou hills, Yuntai mountains,wliich were key protection region for the rare and protected plant diversity in Jiangsu. Suggestions were provided on the basis of the present situation of plants and characteristics fo each research area.
