Geothermal resources refers to the heat resources that can be used by people in the earth's interior, compared with the traditional energy, it has the advantages of clean, economical and little environmental pollution, also it is an integrated mineral resource about water, ore and heat. However, serious environmental problems have been caused by the unreasonable development and utilization of geothermal resources:for example, serious mining induced ground subsidence, pollution on soil and water by discharge of geothermal water, as well as thermal pollution. How to develop and utilize geothermal resources reasonably is a very important problem now before us.Pingyuan county is located in the alluvial plain of Northwest Shandong Province, it has good geothermal geological condition and rich geothermal water resources, which provides a unique condition for geothermal utilization. In this paper, geothermal-well heating project in Lakeside Huayuan District Pingyuan county was took for example, the amount of geothermal water resources in Guantao group,present situation of development and utilization, recharge technology, and environmental impact were studied correspondingly.In this paper, through collecting and analyzing base data of hydrometeorology geology and stratum, as well as lithology of thermal reservoir, buried depth, thickness and the occurrence conditions of geothermal water in the study area, according to the characteristics of the ground temperature fields in the study area, the law of vertical changes for ground temperature field was studied, it is concluded that guantao geothermal average temperature in the study area was 58?. Pumping experiment shows a good water yield property of geothermal reservoir in the study area.In this paper, through the analysis of geothermal-well heating project in the study area of Lakeside Huayuan District in Pingyuan county, required parameters of minable geothermal single well resources were determined, and amount of minable geothermal resources in Guantao Group, storage of minable geothermal resources per unit area, geothermal reservoir of static reserves and minable amount were obtained by caculation.The quality of geothermal water pumping out from geothermal well was evaluated to be level V by comprehensive index, which is poor and not suitable for drinking and irrigation. The deep geothermal water in this area is strongly corrosive to metals, and sulfate in water has midlevel corrosivity to concrete. Therefore, strong corrosive effect for underground hot water on the metal must be considered when choosing building materials in the engineering design, and sulfate resistant cement should be selected. Titanium alloy plate heat exchanger with strong corrosion resistance must be installed for water source heat pumps. After the evaluation of the scaling tendency of geothermal water, it is concluded that there is no calcium sulphate scale or calcium silicate scale generated, therefore usually neither of them will be generated in geothermal water in this area.In this paper, suitable solution about return irrigation of geothermal water, as well as the requirements of technology and process in the study area was provided, problems easy to come out in the return irrigation were completely analyzed. Measures such as Recirculation method, chemical method and sterilization for dealing with stoppage were employed to analyze the phenomenon, type and reason for disposal well stoppage. Characteristic of return irrigation quantity and pressure curve were obtained by specific recharge experiment, it is concluded that the extension of recharging time lead to decreased of recharging capacity, which will be extended Recirculation.The results of this research provides scientific basis for the sustainable development and utilization of geothermal water resources in Pingyuan Dezhou, and it can also provide basis for scientific and reasonable management of geothermal water resources in local administrative departments.
