Research For Medical Logistics Development And Strategic Planning In Yangtze River Delta Region

Modern medical logistics is the combination of the economic globalization and the labor social division, meanwhile its developing level is the standard to evaluate the medical economic comprehensive strength of a city or a region. In a region, medical logistics is the important composition of the medical industry. The integration of regional medical industry can help with the rationalization of regional or interregional medical logistics, as well it could adapt with the rational layout of the industry frame, both of which can help to lower the medical logistics cost and to promote the development of medical industry. Only when we set up the medical logistics system based on regional cooperation, the medical logistics can play the full role in promoting regional economic.As the need of developing modern service is becoming urgent, to break the economic developing bottleneck and to improve the medical logistics are becoming the key settlement to promote the competition in regional medical industry. The economic development in Yangtze River Delta region is so fast that it can afford the infrastructures’, the equipments’ and the markets’request to build modern medical logistics industry. However,25 cities in Yangtze River Delta region have its own medical logistics developing planning, which all hope to become the hub in this region. So it causes the irrational layout and the level irrational layout between the logistics centre and the park, meanwhile the rebuilding phenomenon is serious.In order to guarantee the sustainable development competition, we should fasten the integration of medical logistics resource, and avoid of the low level rebuilding. We should also prevent blind development and malignant competition. We should build the rational planned medical logistics net, in which regions are coordinated and which takes the overall situation into the account.The paper first introduced the general development in Yangzi River Delta Region and on the basis of market investigation and study questionnaire, the writer made an elaborate research on five aspects of Pharmaceutical Logistics in this region, such as:the expenditure and market demand of Pharmaceutical Logistics; the structure of Pharmaceutical Logistics; medical enterprises’support facilities and capacity for Pharmaceutical Logistics; the information-based development of Pharmaceutical Logistics and the demand of logistics’software and service for medical enterprises in years ahead. Then the writer made an analysis of the present state of Pharmaceutical Logistics in US, Europe, Japan and Taiwan and its revelation to the Pharmaceutical Logistics in Yangzi River Delta Region. After that, the writer predicted the demand of Pharmaceutical Logistics in the Delta by applying the Regression Analysis Model and the Grey Model.On the basis of the above analysis and by using SWOT Analytical Technique, the paper analyzed the advantages and disadvantages; the opportunity and challenges of Pharmaceutical Logistics in Delta. Through SWOT Analysis Matrix, the writer proposed the general concept about the Integrative Strategy and the Leadership Strategy. Besides, the writer put forward Delta’s development ideas, strategic targets and several assumptions as follows:Resources Integration Strategy,Third Party Logistics(TPL) Strategy and Pharmaceutical Logistics Human Resources Strategy.Finally paper proposed five strategic measures as follows:to build the guidance for the development of Pharmaceutical Logistics in Delta; to build and improve Multi-invested Financial System; to build human resource system in Pharmaceutical Logistics; to construct medical electronic-marketplace to promote the development with the breakthrough of informationization and to accelerate the development of TPL Industry to build multi-level distribution network system of Pharmaceutical Logistics.
