Regional Logistics Analysis Of The Contribution Of Economic Growth In The Yangtze River Delta Region

As a system which includes transportation, production, circulation and consumption, logistics has become an important basis on which the economy of all countries and regions can develop continuously. Nowadays, all enterprises and regions are in the international market because of economic globalization and the competition is becoming fiercer and fiercer. The development of regional logistics can speed up regional economic growth and it has become one of the most important measures of the modernization and economic strength of a region. Therefore, regional governments are paying more and more attention to the development of regional logistics industry to make it produce great contributions to regional economic growth and then the regional economy can reach a higher stage of development.Yangtze River Delta is one of the most developed regions in China. The regional logistics of it has made great progress and is playing a more and more important role in the course of regional economic integration. Therefore, the thesis analyzes the current situation of the development of regional logistics in Yangtze River Delta and makes empirical analysis of the contributions made by regional logistics to economic growth in this region. And then the thesis puts forward prescriptions for increasing the regional logistics'contributions to economic growth in Yangtze River Delta so that it can be used as a source of reference for the government to make a coordinated system of regional logistics and to make Yangtze River Delta reach regional economic integration as soon as possible.First of all, the thesis makes theoretical analysis of the relationship between the development of regional logistics and regional economics and concludes that the development of regional logistics will make great contributions to regional economic growth and on the other hand, the development of regional economy will not only promote the development of regional logistics, but also determine the scale, level, action pattern and spatial layout of it.Secondly, the thesis makes empirical analysis of the current situation of the development of regional logistics in Yangtze River Delta and concludes that so far the development of regional logistics in Yangtze River Delta has made great progress. And then the thesis builds a regression model between the development of the regional logistics and the regional economy in Yangtze River Delta with the statistical analysis method of SPSS and concludes that with the development of regional logistics, the volume of freight traffic will increase and it has made contributions to the regional economic growth. In addition, the thesis uses a lot of data to analyze the contributions made by regional logistics to the GDP, industrial structure optimization, foreign investment attraction and job creation in Yangtze River Delta and concludes that the development of regional logistics has made great contributions to regional economic growth in Yangtze River Delta, which is more than other service industries made, but compared with developed countries, it is still backward.Last but not least, the thesis analyzes the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the development of regional logistics in Yangtze River Delta with the analytical method of SWOT and puts forward the prescriptions for increasing the regional logistics'contributions to economic growth in Yangtze River Delta.
