In the face of the reality of economic development and environmental deterioration, countries around the world are trying to find ways to improve the quality of economic growth and improve the environment, scholars from all over the world have made great efforts, green total factor productivity(GTFP)has become an important evaluation index.Inter element mobility and spatial association effect will have an impact on the regional economy. The growth of regional economy is restricted not only by its own regional factors, but also closely related to the economic growth of other neighboring regions. After the emergence of Spatial Econometrics, many new ideas and methods are provided for the study of this problem. As the leading force in China's economic development, the Yangtze River Delta region plays an important role in the whole national economy of our country. The problem of resource consumption, environmental pollution and economic growth in Yangtze River Delta is sensitive and prominent. It is of great significance to analyze the quality of economic growth and its spatial interaction. This paper take the Yangtze River Delta region as the research object.First of all, this paper introduces the basic concept of GTFP and its influencing factors.Secondly, from economic growth, environmental loss and environmental efficiency,it analyzed current situation of the Yangtze River Delta region. On this basis,DEA-Malmquist method was applied to analyze the GTFP and its decomposition of Yangtze River Delta region. From the two aspects of technical efficiency and technological progress, the development of GTFP in the Yangtze River Delta is compared. Then, the factors analysis of GTFP were analyzed by applying the spatial panel Durbin model.Study on the mechanism of different factors considering spatial correlation, and the related theory was verified. Finally, according to the results of empirical analysis, this paper puts forward the environmental economic policy to improve the GTFP.The results shows that the average annual growth of GTFP increased 5.8%,significantly lower than the results of environmental factors, and the consumption of resources and environmental pollution will lead to the loss of GTFP.The ability of coordinating development of environment and economy is gradually increasing, and the important reason was technological progress. In different regions, there are different problems in the growth of GTFP in different cities.Only one city in Changzhou achieved the double growth of technical efficiency and technological progress. Therefore,we should take targeted measures to solve the problem of GTFP growth in different cities in the future.Among the many influencing factors, the level of economic development has a significant role in promoting the GTFP,the improvement of the capital labor ratio and the level of opening up to the outside world will promote the improvement of GTFP in the region and adjacent areas, and the proportion of the second industry and the increase of energy consumption will hinder the improvement of GTFP in the region and adjacent areas. Therefore,in view of the problems existing in the economic development of the Yangtze River Delta region, this paper puts forward the following counter measures:(1)Improve the environmental protection mechanism, play a role of government guidance.(2)Change the mode of economic growth, promote the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure.(3)Balanced regional development differences, strengthen the level of opening up to the outside world.(4)Enhance the ability of technological innovation, improve the level of technology application.(5)Improve the income level of residents, enhance the awareness of environmental protection.
