CENTER is a fashion chain sales company in Russian. Selling low and medium grade shoes and hold the leading position in the Russian market. Since 1992, the year CENTER founded, CENTER started to reselling the shoes in Russian market by purchasing in China with few style and small quantity. Till the first half year of 2011, CENTER had purchased about 2,000 standard containers(TEU) from Wenzhou, China. The total sales revenue had over 1 billion USD in 2012, with the total annual sales of shoes reached more than 50 million pairs. CENTER became a fashion chain sales company with 1,000 chain stores in Russia, Ukraine, and Poland from a small market retailer in Moscow. CENTER Fashion company creates a wonderful miracle in the last 2 decades.However, the outdated operation mode, un-systematical operation process and the misconnection between logistic and information flow, seriously impacted the development of CENTER. CENTER must upgrade to a modern enterprise business, especially to improve the logistics supply chain management. It must be considered their own reality to build up the most effective methods during the process.I participated in the program research and part of the system implementation. After analyzing and studying the goods’ production, transportation and information process, I proposed and trial threes processes: Production Schedule Monitor, Cargo Shipment Audit, and IT System Optimization. Finally I obtained the certain effect, on time production rate increased from 55% to 87%; punctual delivery rate increased from 53% to 87%; and container allocation rate increased from 78% to 95%.Through the implementation of optimization programs and results, CENTER company understand the supply chain operation could improve the management. Then CENTER decide to implement Manhattan information management system.The theory will show a deep research and discussion on CENTER’s business upgrade and consistence development, based on its current status, throughout the concept of modern logistic supply chain management.
