Research On The Development Path Of County-level Economy In Dabie Mountains Area Of Hubei Province

As the overall requirement of constructing the fully well-off society in 2020 required, China has implemented national strategies as developing the Yangtze River Economic Belt, constructing the Urban Agglomeration in the Middle Reaches of the Yangtze River, and revitalizing the old revolutionary base areas of Dabie Mountains, meanwhile the Dabie Mountain area in Hubei Province faces lots of new opportunities. Dabie mountain county economy is the base of national economy in this region and the key link for the balance of urban and rural development. The sound and fast development of Dabie Mountain area in Hubei Province is an inevitable demand of the above national strategies and requirement’s implementation. The research on the development path of county economy in Dabie Mountain area of Hubei Province is helpful for understanding its advantages and disadvantages. It can provide policy recommendations for economic development path in this area and better promote the national strategies.Firstly, the thesis reviewed the article domestic researches of the county economy and the economy and social development in Dabie mountain area, then, it summarized the relevant theories about selected models of the county economy development. Secondly, the thesis focused on the analysis of the fundamental state of county economy in Dabie Mountain area of Hubei Province and pointed out that it is a poor, agricultural, ecological, marginal, old revolutionary base, and labor export area. Through the quantitative analysis of the development level and efficiency of Dabie mountain area, the thesis figured out that the county economy there fell behind the average standard in Hubei Province. While it also discovered that in the recent years, technical progress and technical efficiency has made a greater contribution to the county’s economic development. Then, SWOT analysis was carried out on the county economy of Dabie Mountain Area in Hubei, and accordingly, the SO strategy was determined to assist the development of the Dabie Mountain Area in Hubei.By the above analysis, the paper put forward the development path of county economy in the Dabie Mountain area of Hubei. In the process of the development, all counties and cities of Hubei Dabie Mountain Area shall take industry as the core, optimize the development of industrial environment, give full play to the regional characteristic resources advantage, develop the agricultural and sideline products vigorously, develop the modern tourism industry positively, upgrade the modern agriculture, develop some other appropriate industries and supporting industries, cultivate preponderant industrial clusters. Only in these ways, can Dabie Mountain area of Hubei promote the application of appropriate technology and coordinate regional industrial development, and advance regional industrial development in order to propel the development of county economy.
