| In the “new normal†Chinese economy, the trend of the reform on state-owned coal enterprises is irreversible as the enterprises have suffered unbearable falling of coal prices, which forced the enterprises to strengthen their management, tap the potential synergies and enhance the competitiveness in the market. Performance appraisal as an important tool to improve internal potential has attracted more and more attention of the coal enterprises. The Material Supply Center, as a subordinate unit of Yushen Energy Company takes independent function of material purchasing supply for the company, holds the idea that improving the performance appraisal system, stimulating staff’s enthusiasm for work, enhancing management efficiency and reducing the cost of material management is imperative at present.Taking the performance appraisal of the Material Supply Center of Yushen Energy Company as the research object, guided by the relevant research results and the basic theories on performance at home and abroad, the thesis combines the research method of case analysis with comparative analysis, carries out specific analysis, practice and research on performance appraisal of the Material Supply Center of Yushen Energy Company. It sums up that the main body of appraisal and the setting of the main weight appraisal are not reasonable in the original system of the Material Supply Center and the assessment appears to be comprehensive but actually neglects the key points and also lacks appraisal feedbacks. Given the existing problems, applying the theory of human resource and performance appraisal, the thesis combines with the concrete practice, makes some improvement on the present performance appraisal system in the Material Supply Center. On the basis of the comprehensive assessment, key performance and the SMART principle etc., the paper aims to improve the assessment mechanism and the methods applied in the assessment. Guided by the independent, objective, fair and scientific principles, the paper defines the main body of appraisal, improves the project, content, weight of evaluation and new assessment form and constantly improves and upgrades the direction of the content for the Center with the purpose to raise the level of performance appraisal and work efficiency, thus to provide the support to enhance the overall competitiveness of Yushen Energy Company. |
