Performance appraisal (PA) is one of the most important jobs of human resource management(HRM). PA improves the organization's performance and achieves the organization' s strategic goals through PA to the organization as well as individuals improving their performance. The results of the enthusiasm, initiative and creative of employee are decided by impartial performance and proper encourage which coming from the enterprise.The efficiency of process is the key of enterprise efficiency. Only the business processes that can add value to the enterprise are effective and can meet the need of enterprise development strategy. The performance appraisal method based on enterprise process incarnates the new thought of taking process as the center and the wider eyeshot of lateral integration. This performance appraisal method is not only more scientific, more just and more convincing, but also useful to break the boundaries between departments.First, the paper discussed the principles of the performance appraisal method based on enterprise process, including the background, the appraisal pattern, the cope of the application and the advantages. Next, it illuminated implementation process of the performance appraisal method based on enterprise process and several issues that must be dealt with rightly. Finally, the paper introduced the application of SCOR model in process analysis and the establishment of performance indicators.To examine the effectiveness of this method, the paper gave an example, applying it to the performance appraisal of WH Broadcast and TV Broadband Network Company in 2005.
