Traditional mode of economic growth of China in the past, the high input, high consumption, high pollution typical characteristics has been difficult to continue, achieve a fundamental change in the mode of economic growth has been crunch time. As an important way of the mode of economic growth, industrial structure upgrading has become the hot research topics. In this paper, by using the software of Eviews and GDP in 2002 to 1987 and China’s gross industrial output value of the first two or three linear model and nonlinear model with two level production function model to estimate and the two models for the Chow breakpoint test, because the variables of production function in the two level of excessive Chow test failed, but the linear model to determine the in 2002 and 1994 for the mutant breakpoints model in economics as a point of the structure. The software of Eviews is used to test the model, and the comparison of the two models, in the circumstance of fewer samples by linear model, instead using nonlinear model. And reasonable suggestions for adjustment of industrial structure in the future in China are given.
