The Empirical Analysis On Agglomeration Of Manufacturing Industries In Guizhou Based On PCA

With the accelerating of economic globalization, the various elements such as knowledge, labor and technology has become an increasingly important role in the economic development, and the rational allocation of various elements and innovation also provides a strong impetus for the development of the enterprise, even affect the economic operation and the development of the whole regional economy. Therefore, specific industry agglomeration in a specific area of a large number of enterprises has gradually become a worldwide economic phenomenon.In recent years, with the accelerated process of industrialization in Guizhou and its own resources and policy advantages,the industrial agglomeration of Guizhou has played a significant role in promoting the development of the whole regional economy. Manufacturing industry is the core of the industry, is also a important standard to measure of the overall strength of a region’s economic and technological level, therefore, the paper revolves around manufacturing industry agglomeration of Guizhou to expand the research.This article first reviews the relevant theories of industrial agglomeration, and generalizes the domestic and foreign literature about industrial agglomeration. Then analyses the current situation of Guizhou manufacturing industry agglomeration, introduces the historical process and development opportunities and other aspects of Guizhou manufacturing industry agglomeration, emphatically analyzes the content of the level of development in Guizhou manufacturing, industrial structure and professional level in three areas. Through the analysis of professional level from 2010 to 2014 manufacturing industries in Guizhou calculates the location entropy, to measure and evaluate the degree of industrial concentration and dynamic changes of Guizhou manufacturing characteristics. Then, designs of industrial clustering index system including creation ability, including industrial economy interregional competition, industry correlation effect and sustainable development ability, and using the principal component analysis method to make an empirical analysis of the manufacturing industry agglomeration in Guizhou, and supplemented by cluster analysis verification. Through the empirical evaluation of the overall score and each principal component score and sorting cases, explores the manufacturing industry agglomeration of characteristics and advantages of the presence of industries results. Based on the research process, we focus on the current situation in Guizhou manufacturing industry gathering static analysis, but also pay attention to the study location entropy changing trends in manufacturing various industries. By combining each static and dynamic analysis, in-depth analysis of Guizhou manufacturing industry cluster development trend.Finally, to comb through and summarize the empirical results of the analysis, put forward development proposals from two aspects of government and industry.
