| The paper concentrate on industrial agglomeration and industrial competitiveness of pharmaceutical manufacturing industry in our country. Because of this, firstly summarizes the relevant theories and evolution of industrial agglomeration and industrial competitiveness domestic and foreign.and analyze industrial agglomeration effect mechanism of industry competitiveness. Through literature review and theory, the mechanism are mainly from the external scale economy effect, innovation and diffusion effect, regional specialization effect and regional brand effect.Secondly, it measures pharmaceutical manufacturing overall and subclass agglomeration level, the result shows the agglomeration level of pharmaceutical manufacture in China is low. The agglomeration degree of biological and biochemical products manufacturing industry is highest, chemical pharmaceutical and original chemical drug manufacturing industry is in the middle, proprietary Chinese medicines manufacturing and pieces of Chinese medicine processing industry is lowest. By analysis the industrial scale and growth, product structure, research and development ability, profit ability and foreign trade capacity,The integrated competitiveness need urgently rise subject to the poor research ability.At last it evaluates the agglomeration and competitiveness with location quotient index and factor scores and found pharmaceutical manufacturing industry agglomeration concentrated in the eastern provinces, competitiveness decrease from eastern, central and western provinces.the panel regression empirical analysis of agglomeration effect on industrial competitiveness direction shows a positive correlation. it proposes suggestion on promoting pharmaceutical manufacturing competitiveness and industrial agglomeration level according to the conclusion from five aspect of the park construction, structural adjustment, science and technology innovation, diversified investment and government functions. |
